On March 18, the press conference was held to summarize the results of participation of the Communist candidate in the 2024 presidential election.
At the opening ceremony, the Communist Party Chairman Gennady Zyuganov congratulated all Russian citizens with the successful completion of elections, highlighted that more than 77% of Russians participated in the voting set the absolute record in the history of the presidential election in the country.
These elections were held for the first time in the country in the context of a brutal war unleashed against the Russian world, along with 18000 imposed sanctions, while eight regions of the country were shelled by NATO and Americans, who broke a savage war in brotherly Ukraine
The nomination of our candidate and our program of withdrawal from the crisis were supported by 56 organizations of the People’s Patriotic Union, who believe in our program as absolutely constructive, realistic, and in fact, salvaging for the country. It will be implemented any way.
The party did a great job. We participated in all debates, presenting our program in all the constituent entities of the Russian Federation and understood that the party and our patriotic union have great support. Our candidate was backed by one million supporters and we believe that’s a big deal.
