Russian elections of 2023 took place on Sunday, 10 September 2023 (Single Election Day) and confirmed once again that in modern conditions the Communist Party of the Russian Federation remained the second political power in the country, still in opposition to all innovations and technologies aimed at making elections unfair (such as remote electronic voting during 3 days).
In the course of 19 (out of 21) gubernatorial election campaigns the CPRF gained 2 victories and got 14 second places. Among all other parliamentary parties, the CPRF remains the only party that can competitively conduct personal campaigns of this level of state responsibility throughout the country.
In particular, special attention should be paid to the successes of communist governors in the Oryol region and the Republic of Khakassia.
Thus, in the Oryol region, Andrei Klychkov, the governor and CPRF member scored 82.09%.
“This is a complete and unconditional victory,” – Gennady Zyuganov, Chairman of the CPRF CC gave his comments on this occasion.
Despite the persecution launched by the “United Russia”, the head of Khakassia, Valentin Konovalov, won the gubernatorial elections with 63.14% of the votes.
In the Moscow mayoral elections the CPRF candidate Leonid Zyuganov has noticeably increased the level of support for the party compared to 2018. Moreover, a large team of candidates became parliamentarians, in particular, in Sochi, Gelendzhik, and Tyva.
Also, the CPRF has seriously strengthened its vertical in new regions, for example, in the Kherson region, where the CPRF now has deputies in almost all municipalities.
