nformation on the Work of the Second (November) Plenum of the CC CPRF

The Second (November) Plenum of the Central Committee of the CPRF took place at a location outside Moscow on November 15. It was attended by members of the CC and CCRC, secretaries of the regional party committees, deputies of various levels, representatives of the LCY RF and other public associations.

The discussion of the items on the agenda was preceded by the handing out of party and Komsomol membership cards. The Chairman of the CC G.A.Zyuganov handed in cards to new members of the CPRF and the Leninist Communist Youth Union from Moscow, the Moscow, Kaluga, Vladimir, Rostov, Ryazan and Tula Oblasts.

         The participants were apprised of the decision of the CC CPRF on the award of the Lenin Prize. The 2025 winners are: V.N.Voronin(Chairman of the Party of Communists of the Republic of Moldova), Kim Jong Un(Chairman of State Affairs of the DPRK, General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea), S.A.Serebryakov(Director-General of the Public Joint Stock Company KirovskyZavod), Xinhua(Information Agency of the People’s Republic of China),  V.A.Chernushenko (Art Director Of the State Academic Capella of St.Petersburg). 

The Central Committee Plenum discussed two items: 

  1. On the work of the CPRF to fulfil the Victory Program.  
  2. Organization issue.

The speakers on the firstitemwere Chairman of the CC CPRF G.A.Zyuganov and his deputy V.I.Kashin.

The discussion was wrapped up by G.A.Zyuganov. He stressed the fundamental significance of the Victory Program for the entire activity of the Party and called for stepped-up activity to put into practice the key principles of the CPRF.

The members of the Central Committee unanimously voted for the draft resolution On the Work of the CPRF to Fulfil the Victory Program.

The Plenum addressed a number of organizational issues. Fourteen commissions and two expert councils were established for different areas of party activities. New appointments were endorsed: B.O.Komotsky as chief editor of the newspaper Pravda, and N.I.Osadchy as chief of the CC CPRF administrative affairs.
