Press release on the outcomes of the Second International Anti-Fascist Forum

On April 24, 2025 the Second International Anti-Fascist Forum named “Consolidation of left-wing forces in the fight against neo-fascism and the threat of war” dedicated to the 80th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War concluded its work in Moscow,

It was attended by representatives of 164 political parties, public associations, antifascist movements, trade unions, women’s, youth and veterans organizations, foreign parliamentarians, public figures and scientists from 91 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America, as well as foreign ambassadors accredited in Moscow and representatives of foreign  Mass Media.

Delegates of the Forum participated in the flower-laying ceremony at the Grave of the Unknown Soldier, visited the Museum of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Within the framework of the Forum there was an International Conference with a broad discussion of topic related to struggle with modern fascism and neo-Nazis.

 In their statements, representatives of parties and organizations gave an objective assessment of the events taking place in the world in light of the resurgent neo-fascism with its anti-human ideology and stressed the necessity to unite all left forces to fight it.

In memory of those who sacrificed  their lives for a common victory over the “brown plague of the 20th century,” peoples around the world must prevent a repetition of that terrible tragedy and keep on joint analysis of causes that led to world war,  learn its lessons and avoid distortions of historical truth.

The Appeal was adopted following the work of the II International Anti-Fascist Forum, which defined the fight against fascism  as a common and urgent task of progressive forces around the world.
